Administration and Support
Trinity's Congregational Council provides direction to the ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church. The Council gathers on the third Wednesday of the month, 7 pm, in the Martin Luther Room. Council Chairperson Lori Arnott directs the work of the Congregational Council.

Trinity Dove is the monthly newsletter
of
Trinity Church. Available on-line, Trinity
Dove
is
published on the second-to-last Sunday of the month. Submission deadline is the

Congregational Life
The Women of Trinity is a group of women who generally gather on the first Monday of the month, 12;30 noon, in Trinity Hall. Contact Pat Schmetzer for information.
Trinity's Prayer Circle is made up of
people who regularly pray for people and concerns within and without the parish. Each
month, Pastors Lavergne and Anderson meet to review the pastoral care
needs of the community and to offer names and intentions for the Prayer Circle.

Trinity's Shepherds keep the pastors aware of ministry opportunities in the thirty or so neighbourhoods of the parish. Following the services of the last Sunday of the month, they also deliver Trinity Dove, our parish newsletter to any who have not been able to pick up a copy at worship. The Trinity Church Library contains a large portion of the library of Pastor André Lavergne together with many other volumes and journals. The Library is accessible whenever the church is open. For information, contact Pastor André Lavergne.
Each month, the Trinity Gentle Friends Readers'
Group gathers to discuss a commonly-read volume. Books are made
available in
advance at the New Hamburg Library. Conversation and fellowship occurs on the third
Tuesday
of the month, 7 pm, in Trinity Hall. Contact Coordinator Kathryn Ritz
for
information.
The Trinity Quilters gathers weekly to make relief quilts, to do custom quilting and for conversation and fellowship. The group meets Wednesdays, 9 am, from Fall through Spring. Contact Coordinator Florence Sebert for information.
The Junior (grades 6-8) and Senior (grades 9 and up) TYGers (Trinity Youth Group-ers) meet for monthly fellowship and occasional service activities. They also attend a variety of summer youth gatherings. Pastor Anderson provides leadership to the two groups. Contact her for current program. Want to join the TYGers on Facebook? Nurturing Faith
Affirmation! Ministry is a
comprehensive
formation ministry for young people, grades 3 through 9, which includes the possibility
of
confirmation in the grade 9 year. The program includes annual half-day
sessions for grades 3 through 6; camping in the summers leading to grades 7 and 8;
monthly evening Affirmation! sessions for youth in grades 7 and 8; retreats and a
variety of other fellowship and service events as arranged.
Pastor Anderson can offer details as to the current program.
Trinity offers Adult and Young Adult programs which include Sunday morning learning opportunities, evening pastors' studies and other activities. For current details, contact the Nurturing Faith - Adults & Young Adults Coordinator.
Sponsored by the Women of Trinity, the Cradle Roll offers families monthly mailing regarding the growth and spiritual development of their children from birth to age 2. For information, contact Cradle Roll Coordinator Nancy Brodrecht.
Inquirers' Classes are offered Fall or Spring as arranged with participants. For information, contact Pastor Anne Anderson.
Faith Adventures, Trinity's Sunday
School program, offers learning ministry for all children. The School gathers
Sundays, at 10:45 am, from the
Sunday after Labour Day through to Pentecost.

Outreach and Service
In addition to the ministries listed below, Trinity actively supports the work of Lutheran
Campus Ministry at
Waterloo and the K-W Lutheran Refugee Committee. As well, please take a look

The Advent Mitten Tree is a program wherein people knit mittens and other warm woollies throughout the year to help decorate a tree during Advent. The knit goods are then placed in Christmas hampers for delivery in Wilmot Township Contact Ken Seltzer for information.
The Christmas Hamper Program is an endeavour wherein Trinity, together with other congregations and agencies in the community, strive to prepare hampers for the township. Gifts are purchased for individuals identified only by sex and age. Food for Christmas is included. Contact Ken Seltzer for information.
The Trinity Garden Club is a community garden project open to all. Planting begins in Spring with work throughout the growing season. Contact the Garden Club Coordinator Maria Baumgaertner for information.
Worship

Trinity's Altar Guild serves the needs of the worshipping community by keeping the worship appointments in good shape and the chancel ready for worship. Open to men and women on a monthly rotation. Meetings as arranged. Contact the Altar Guild Coordinator Reta Klaassen for information.
Trinity Choir is Trinity's anchor choir and is composed of some thirty adults. Rehearsals are Thursdays, 7:45 pm, in the Martin Luther Room. For information, contact Director of Music Gywin Murray.
The Sanctuary Choir / Band is for young people with changed voices (grades 9 & up). They sing / play for special events such as our Easter Vigil and rehearse as arranged. For information, contact Lisa Hagen.
