November 29, 2009 ~ Advent 1
-
This Sunday, we're back to regular Anchor Community (9:30 am) and Sanctuary Community (5 pm) gatherings following last Sunday's terrific 175th Anniversary celebration. As the hymn-writer wrote, "My Lord, what a morning!" Great spirit. Wonderful enthusiasm. Lot's of fun! And over 300 photos on the web.
- This Sunday, at
10:45 am, we host the third session in our adult learning
series called My life; my times. Our world; our mission. Six distinguished
pastors are reflecting on their ministry and the unfolding mission of the church. This
Sunday, Vern Cronmiller, former Director of the LCA World Hunger Appeal, and
a pastor, colleague and friend, is on-deck.
- Also at 10:45 am,
we gather in Trinity Hall for the first of our Faith
Adventures Christmas Program rehearsals.
- On Monday
evening, 6 pm, Faith in Film's Sherry
Coman will screen Amadeus. Bring a brown-bag lunch & come
early to get a good seat!
- The November 22
issue of Trinity Dove is available
online on the Trinity Dove page. Trinity's Life-Long Learning Plan
and Worship Rota are also
available this week.
- The Mitten Tree is up awaiting warm winter woollies. We Care Christmas bags and 2010 offering envelope sets are still
available in the narthex.
