June 21, 2009 ~ Pentecost 3 + Father's Day
  • Today, it's Church Music Sunday in the parish. We celebrate the magnificent work of Gywin Murray, the Trinity Choir and Affirmation Singers.

  • Our community gathers at the conclusion of our morning worship to consider a five-year extension to Pastor Anne's call. The church is full with people lining the back wall and the back side isles. Lori Arnott describes the thinking of the Mutual Ministry Team around particulars of Anne's call. Moving speeches are offered by Nancy Dale, Rick Trafford and Scott Malloch. At length, the congregation votes 168 to 2 to extend Pr. Anne's call to the fall of 2014. The news is greeted with cheers and boisterous applause to underscore an altogether-terrific affirmation of Anne's ministry and a wonderful morning. SDG.

  • People have been enthusiastic about signing-up on-line to participate in Trinity's 175th Anniversary Parish Album. You can sign-up here to join the crowd. At the end of the day, over 80 families have signed-on. Astonishing!

  • Our community grieves deeply the April 30 stillbirth of Willow, daughter of Lori (Schmitt) & Mike Otterbein. We shall gather at Wilmot Centre Missionary Church to mourn with Lori and Mike on Thursday, May 7, at 11 am, with visitation at 10 am. A reception will follow as will a private family burial.
